About the Team:
New Product Incubation teams in Postman create, envision and launch new and innovative products to solve customer problems. These teams have a deep understanding of customers and iterate fast to validate key hypotheses. This team works on developing Postman’s Partner Workspaces into a product that is loved by millions of developers across the world.
Last year we launched Partner Workspaces and we’re on the hunt for dynamic builders like you. This is an opportunity to be an early member of a team that owns and delivers a product which will be used by millions of Developers and business professionals worldwide.
What You’ll Do:
Shape the Future of New Product: Lead the product development in collaboration with a cross-functional team that includes Support, Quality, Security, and Platform. You will work closely with Product and Engineering leadership.
Innovate Through Prototypes: Rapidly construct functional prototypes to address customers’ use-cases, driving our product’s evolution.
Shape Our Path: Be an integral contributor to roadmap planning, coordinating with all stakeholders to align our products with strategic goals.
Lead & Mentor: Offer technical leadership and mentorship to your fellow engineers, sharing best practices and elevating our collective expertise.
Own Systems Architecting: Lead the system design of Partner API systems, partnering with stakeholders to ensure robust functionality and strategic integration.
Enhance System Maturity: Take ownership of the maturation of existing systems, defining initiatives to enhance reliability, security, and performance.
About You:
Product Centric Engineering: You have built products from scratch and have the desire and ability to wear multiple hats.
Passionate Technologist: You’re driven by the passion to solve customer problems by utilizing technology.
Experienced Builder: With at least 5+ years of experience building applications in high-level programming languages – especially JavaScript, Python, or Golang. We primarily code in JavaScript.
Large Scale Code Craftsperson: You have worked on customer-facing large-scale web application systems. Your code is testable, maintainable, and easy to understand by others.
Communicator: You can demystify technical concepts, effectively sharing knowledge with product managers, designers, support, and other engineers.
Curious Learner: An insatiable curiosity moves you to understand how things work and to constantly learn, absorb, and share new knowledge.
Nice to Have:
- Worked on pre-product market fit solutions and launched them to customers.
- A passion for teaching and making others more productive.

- Experience with NodeJS and React.
