About the Job
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Data Team, interested in helping develop automation processes and AI in production. This is a 6-month internship with the potential for a full-time position based on performance. As an engineer intern, you will work closely with our finance, marketing, payments, and flights teams to streamline and automate processes using advanced technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document business requirements and translate those into technical specifications.
- Design target solutions and develop technical prototypes.
- Develop software automation frameworks following the Agile framework.
- Assist in the automation of processes across finance, marketing, payments, and flights teams using Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
- Develop and maintain automation scripts primarily written in Python.
- Utilize BigQuery to extract, transform, and load data for automation tasks.
- Explore and implement solutions involving OpenAI/GenAI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) for in-house tool development.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Python programming. (must)
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or recently graduated in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Good to have knowledge in Robot Framework.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with BigQuery.
- Keen interest in learning and exploring OpenAI, GenAI, NLP, and related technologies.
- Good to have knowledge in Agile Methodology.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage time effectively.
